You’ll dive into the exciting world of cryptocurrency trading, gain hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, algorithm development, and market research. As a Quant Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real projects, learn from experienced quant traders, and gain practical experience to get a head start on your trading career.
Working on projects alongside mentors will give you a sense of the variety of problems we solve every day. Throughout the summer, you’ll also participate in simulated interactive mock trading sessions.

Our trading team digs into fresh trading ideas and tweaks the ones we already have. Most of our trading is fully automated, but we’re not afraid to mix in some gut feeling or out-of-the-box ideas if they seem promising. A solid trader usually rocks a mix of strong technical skills (think stats and basic coding) and a good feel for probabilities and expected values.
We’ve structured the program to be both fun and challenging, with a typical day including:

Time to explore your own ideas and projects, supported by our experienced team.

Work with Python, Pandas, SQL, and Grafana for data analysis and real-time monitoring.
Learn trading fundamentals from experienced quants and traders.
Collaborate in teams to tackle challenging open-ended quant problems suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Participate in discussions about the problems to sharpen your argumentation skills.
Experience manual trading with substantial, yet manageable positions to grasp market dynamics.

This internship opportunity is on-site in Bratislava, Slovakia, with relocation provided.

Online Math test: Low-to-medium complexity problems focused on probability, logic, and mathematical skills. This is a take-home challenge that you can do anytime in your free time.

Quant Interview 45min: A set of medium complexity problems to assess your intuition and problem-solving approach.
Quant Interview 90min: General discussion about your background and passions, followed by medium-hard complexity problems to assess your intuition and problem-solving approach.
On-site Interview: Engage in a set of betting games to evaluate your quantitative reasoning and decision-making skills.
You’ll conduct the final rounds on-site in Bratislava, Slovakia. All costs are covered and you’ll get to know the team, city, and our venues.
Salary: 5,000 EUR / month which is an equivalent of earning €13,105 in London according to livingcost.org. due to low living costs and low income taxes in Slovakia, see below.
Full-day catering: All-inclusive breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, fruits, and other treats in our offices save you hundreds of euros every month.
Travel, Accommodation, and Visa Support: We’ll help you cover the costs of joining us on-site.
Potential for Full-Time Transition: Exceptional interns may be considered for full-time positions based on their performance and our business needs.
Commitment: Full-time commitment for the duration of the seven-week summer 2026 internship.
On-site: Participation in our offices in Bratislava, Slovakia, is required to facilitate continuous interaction and learning with the team. We will support accommodation arrangements.

The internship lasts for 7 weeks. It begins in June and runs through the end of August, taking place fully on-site at our offices. This timeline is designed to give you enough time to work on meaningful projects while still fitting into a summer break.
Our interview process is designed to test your problem-solving ability rather than prior experience in trading. We focus on probability, statistics, logical reasoning, and intuition, as well as your ability to think under uncertainty.
The process begins with an online assessment. Successful candidates are then invited to two technical rounds covering probability and statistics. The final stage is an on-site session in Bratislava, where you’ll participate in interactive betting games that simulate real decision-making scenarios.

The process typically involves four stages: an online assessment (with a two-week deadline), two technical interviews, and a final on-site round. After you submit your assessment, we schedule interviews as soon as possible based on interviewer availability.
