About us

Imagine building systems that think in microseconds — algorithms that move millions with absolute precision.

We’re engineers driven by performance, reliability, and meaningful innovation in the crypto trading space. Our team — experienced builders from Amazon, and Google, with academic backgrounds from Berkeley, Caltech, ETH, and MIT — is developing a next-generation trading platform that executes orders seamlessly across 10+ exchanges and dozens of tokens.

Here, every line of code matters. Push your work to production, and within minutes it could be driving thousands of trades per hour. It’s fast, impactful, and never dull — the kind of engineering challenge that keeps you sharp and inspired.

What you’d be securing

We execute roughly $5 billion in volume every day, across thousands of assets, on dozens of exchanges, 24/7/365. Our algorithms price and hedge thousands of trades per second. We have a DeFi team operating on-chain. We run OTC. We have signing keys, exchange API credentials, quant models, and proprietary strategies. Blackhats around the globe know that too. We need someone who looks at that and sees an interesting problem — and has the skills and grit to hold the right defenses.

The role

You’ll join a small, senior security team. No checkbox security, no bureaucracy — just real problems and the ownership to solve them. Plan and execute projects to evolve and upgrade our defenses or create new ones. Sometimes it’s setting a right rule for “can I share this document” and sometimes it’s responding to an attack by a state sponsored actor. Part of the job is on-call rotation. During your on-call week, you may get pulled into an incident or an urgent question outside working hours.

Must have

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity and devops or relevant experience

  • Familiarity with software development security: pipelines, artifact registries, supply chain attacks, dependency confusion, slopsquatting

  • Hands-on Cloud security

  • Solid, hands-on experience with AI tooling and their risks

  • Current on the threat landscape: you know what’s being exploited now, what defenses are effective, and what’s still hype

  • Clear, structured thinking about risk — threat modeling, prioritization, communicating tradeoffs to non-security people

  • Self-directed. Manager of one.

Strong advantage

  • First hand experience with incident response

  • Understanding of crypto fundamentals, — not necessarily a developer, but you need to reason about the risk surface

  • DeFi experience and understanding

  • Experience in trading, fintech, or any environment where security controls must coexist with latency requirements

  • Hands-on Google Workspace security

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity and devops or relevant experience

  • smart contracts, and L2 protocols

  • Has personally owned cloud security at a real production scale (AWS)

AI Use in the Recruitment Process

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, for some roles we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to help our recruiters review your application. In particular, we may use AI tools at the following stages of your application:

  1. CV Screening. We may use a tool that gives insights on how well your CV corresponds to the criteria for the role you applied for. These criteria are chosen by our recruiters, not AI. All insights are reviewed by a human, who decides whether to pass your application to the next stage individually. This improves outcomes by ensuring you receive a timely response and that recruiters do not miss relevant experience on your CV.
  2. Interview Stage. With your express permission at the start of an interview, we may use an AI tool that transcribes the interview. This allows your interviewer to focus more on you instead of note-taking. We may also use AI to provide a summary of the transcript so we can keep track of what was discussed, helping later interviewers avoid repeating questions. A recruiter may take this transcript and summary into account when deciding whether to move your application to the next round.
